Latest Update: Sold Out at Meadow View

The world feels very uncertain at the moment and the thought of staying in can be a daunting one, but it’s important to make the most of the new opportunities that all this ‘down time’ presents.

After all, there’s never been a better moment to appreciate home, especially if you’re in a Dragonfly Home. We’ve put together 7 things to do that should help the week feel more positive and productive. If you try out any of these things, be sure to take a picture and tag us on social media – we’d love to see what you get up to!

Monday | Learn something new!

Always wanted to learn a new skill? Now is the time to do it. There’s plenty of online tutorials for things you can be doing, whether it’s a spot of knitting, crafts or something a bit more outside of the box.

Tuesday | Gardening

As Spring is finally here, now is a great time to give your garden a little TLC. It doesn’t need to be big changes, but a bit of extra attention here and there will provide a sense of achievement and a fresh perspective on your outdoor space, no matter how small.

Wednesday | Reading like a bookworm

Staying in can suddenly provide you with an abundance of free time. What better way to spend it than by getting stuck into a good book? Ticking some novels off of your ‘To Read’ list provides a sense of productivity and helps you to lose yourself in a gripping story in a world far, far away, with no screens in sight.

Thursday | Get creative with cooking

With certain foods proving hard to find in the shops, you might find yourself missing an ingredient or two – so why not test some new recipes using things you already have in the cupboards?

Swapping out ingredients, trying new meals and baking new things makes for a creative alternative to going to restaurants and cafes and who knows, you might end up with a winning recipe that the whole family loves!

Friday | FaceTime with friends and family

It’s important to stay connected to the ones you love during this time. Arranging FaceTimes and phone calls with your friends can really boost your mental health and add a bit of normality back into your life. You could even have a virtual drinks party to lift spirits – no pun intended!

Saturday | Exercise

The digital world means that we have access to a wide range of information without having to leave the house – including free exercise classes!

Use this time to build up your fitness levels and invest in yourself. From HIIT and circuit training to Yoga and Barre, you can find a class for pretty much anything on platforms such as YouTube and Instagram.

Sunday | Quality Time

Why not make the most of your Sundays and spend quality time together? Dust off your board games and let the competition begin! Besides, nothing brings a family together better than a competitive game of Monopoly (bad example!)

Take care everybody!
